Administrative Assistant


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Amkor is recruiting for an Administrative Assistant (f/m/d) to support the EMEA Sales team, based in our Munich office. This role is expected to manage the day‐to‐day office administration, organize meetings and events, provide assistance in travel/expense management and manage communications, including with external vendors.

Job Summary:

  • Schedule and organize complex activities such as meetings, travel, conferences and department activities for the group and executives
  • Initiate travel and accommodations for group members by working with the travel agency
  • Timely management of expense reporting and submission/clarification of invoices, etc
  • Assist in the organization of the office and IT supplies, including coordination with external vendors
  • As needed, assist team members by acting as liaison to Building Services with regards to carpark lots, building issues, and internal moves
  • Generate routine and ad-hoc reports with exceptional attention to detail utilizing MS Excel and PowerPoint
  • Provide professional customer service while interfacing with various Amkor clients and internal staff

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3-4 years related experience working in a corporate environment supporting a team of 15 or more people is required (with executive support being highly desired)
  • Must be self-directed with the ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to work effectively in a cross-divisional and multi-cultural environment
  • Very good verbal and written communications skills; fluency in German and English is essential
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt and work remotely after business hours (occasionally) as needed to support a global environment
  • Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office with advanced knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint Ability to learn quickly, particularly with other Amkor internal systems
  • Prior experience working with expense reporting systems, SAP Concur is highly desired Professional demeanor and appearance required supporting a sales office

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience working with quoting systems and support quoting activity is a plus Experience with SalesForce is a plus
