Job Summary:

This position is responsible for defining, evolving, and governing Amkor’s core enterprise IT infrastructure services, including data center, cloud, network, identity, security, and shared platforms that support manufacturing, test, engineering, and corporate functions across global sites.

Based in Singapore, this role reports to the Senior Director, Global IT Infrastructure and serves as a key technical leader in shaping scalable, secure, and resilient infrastructure architecture for the enterprise.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Serve as a technical authority for enterprise infrastructure architecture across Amkor’s global operations
• Define and maintain enterprise reference architectures, standards, and design principles for shared infrastructure services
• Lead the design of scalable, resilient, and secure infrastructure platforms that support manufacturing systems, business applications, analytics, and digital initiatives
• Drive modernization initiatives across virtualization, container platforms, storage, data protection, and network architecture
• Architect and evolve hybrid and multi-cloud platforms to support enterprise application hosting, manufacturing data aggregation, disaster recovery, and business continuity
• Establish enterprise patterns for secure cloud connectivity, identity federation, access controls, cost governance, and platform scalability
• Ensure infrastructure platforms meet the needs of high-availability manufacturing environments, including performance, reliability, and controlled change management
• Partner with Factory IT, Site IT, Automation, Enterprise Applications, Information Security, and business teams to deliver enterprise services that are standardized, fit for purpose, and globally consistent
• Contribute to architecture governance through design reviews, technical standards, lifecycle planning, and risk assessments for high-impact changes
• Provide technical leadership during major incidents, root cause analysis, and remediation of systemic issues
• Embed security-by-design principles across enterprise infrastructure services and platforms
• Lead technical evaluations, proof-of-concept initiatives, and architectural assessments with vendors and strategic partners
• Influence infrastructure roadmaps and solution designs to align with business priorities and operational requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field; equivalent experience will also be considered
• 12+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, including significant responsibility at enterprise scale
• 5+ years of experience operating at a Senior, Principal, or Staff Engineer level, or equivalent
• Proven experience designing and supporting enterprise services in mission-critical environments
• Semiconductor industry experience, with a strong understanding of how enterprise platforms support manufacturing and test operations
• Deep expertise in data center architecture, enterprise networking, hybrid cloud infrastructure, identity and access management, and enterprise security architecture
• Strong experience in Windows and Linux enterprise environments, VMware, Nutanix, observability platforms, backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity design
• Working knowledge of manufacturing system dependencies, enterprise analytics platforms, and multi-site data flows
• Strong systems thinking, sound technical judgment, and the ability to solve complex and ambiguous problems
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and executive audiences
• Ability to work independently while aligning architecture decisions with enterprise strategy and business priorities
• TOGAF or equivalent architecture certification preferred
• Cloud certifications in AWS, Azure, or GCP preferred
• Security, Site Reliability Engineering, or ITIL certifications are a plus
