Business Operation Manager

This role is to support global business processes across sales, factories and business unit organizations, with a focus on pricing activities. We are looking for a resourceful team player who is adept at utilizing and integrating data from multiple systems to put together pricing proposals. The candidate should be highly adaptable to changing business needs and possess strong analytical skills. This position is based at our Regional Singapore office.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Build up cost models to provide package cost estimates to Business Units (BU) and factory
  • Maintain and update regularly pricing history database
  • Respond timely to relevant pricing requests in RFQ systems through market benchmarking and profitability analysis
  • Support BU to formulate pricing strategy and take pricing actions to enhance profitability
  • Support critical meetings with internal cross-functional teams on product/package costing
  • Partner with BU, factories and sales to assure an integrated and profit-maximizing approach
  • Responsible for production price maintenance duties, and approving pricing issues in SAP
  • Assist global sales take-or-pay coordination and reconciliation
  • Adhoc analysis of various revenue-related items

Qualifications:

  • BS degree in Engineering
  • Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in the semiconductor industry
  • Demonstrated understanding of semiconductor assembly processes and raw materials
  • Familiarity with SAP system
  • Advanced Excel skills and the ability to manipulate large data set is a must
  • Strategic thinker with a proven ability to translate technical requirements/issues into the business context or vice versa
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written
  • Independent, able to multi-task, and collaborate with cross-functional and cultural groups

Global Supplier Quality Manager

Job Summary:

  • Promote Global Supplier Quality Management (SQM) Initiatives to suppliers
  • SQE commodity team oversight
  • Maintain company quality standards
  • Supplier Process Change Management (SPCM) oversight
  • Define and drive supplier-preferred partner strategy
  • Spotlight SDP TFT oversight for key automotive suppliers
  • Automotive Approved Manufacturing List (AAML) management
  • Supplier audit consultant or auditor as needed (leveraging VDA capabilities)
  • Conformance audit for the automotive golden rule

Core Responsibilities:

  • Drive Amkor’s Quality mindset into the supply chain to differentiate Amkor apart from other OSATs, as the leader in the Global SQM process
  • Serve as Corporate Quality Advocate to drive key corporate quality Initiatives (e.g. Global PCN manager)
  • Interact with worldwide factories to drive global SQM initiatives across all sites
  • Enable and manage Amkor’s global CCB standardization platform tool and methodology
  • Participates/leads supplier VDA6.3 Process audits in support of global needs
  • Facilitate SQE commodity team meetings
  • Facilitate communication between stakeholders (e.g. customers, suppliers, sales, BU, etc.)

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
  • 5-10 years of experience in Quality related roles in the semiconductor industry. Supplier-quality engineering experience is preferred
  • Possess a comprehensive understanding of quality tools (8D, SPC, FMEA, MSA, APQP, etc.)
  • Knowledge of IATF16949 and VDA6.3 Standards and certification will be an advantage
  • Experience in managing quality improvement projects
  • Able to work and influence people from different cultures and countries
  • Able to communicate and present effectively in small and large groups
  • Self-driven and has excellent problem-solving and organizational skills for daily customer support and managing ongoing and future programs
  • Able to work independently and as a team player with customers and worldwide cross-functional teams within the organization
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
