IT Customer Business Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and communicative analyst and project manager to join our IT Customer Team, under the IT PMO. In this role, you will be responsible for managing customer IT relationships, demands, projects, and programs, with a strong emphasis on collaboration and effective communication.

Reporting to the Director of eBusiness Management, you will serve as the primary liaison between Sales and assigned customer accounts. You will partner with the business to collect and evaluate demands, with a special focus on customer B2B integrated solutions. This will include business case analysis to determine cost and benefits, project planning, execution and delivery and will involve collaboration primarily with customers, internal business teams, factories, finance, and product business units. Additionally, you will oversee various customer IT requests such as quotes for non-standard billable IT projects, internal projects, cybersecurity questionnaires/audits, and production support for customer incidents and program enhancement requests.

This position has the potential for 5% domestic and 5% international travel.

Core Responsibilities:

Demand Management

  • Facilitate meetings or workshops with stakeholders to gather current and roadmap requirements
  • Conduct detailed case business analysis with cost and benefit plans
  • Assess project size and impact
  • Develop and maintain business process models and workflows
  • Translate the business case into a project proposal for governance reviews and approvals
  • Collaborate with customers, and business partners to prioritize IT project requests
  • Maintain demands in Amkor’s ITSM tool

Project Management

  • Develop project plans, timelines, milestones, resource allocations, cost and benefit plans
  • Assemble and lead cross-functional project teams
  • Functional requirements analysis for handover to technical development teams
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular stakeholder updates on schedule, scope, and budget
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and issues
  • Develop communication plans
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment
  • Ensure successful project delivery on time, within scope and budget
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation and communication plans for production support handover
  • Support post-implementation review and support during hyper care period
  • Tracking of benefits realization
  • Maintain projects in Amkor’s ITSM ensuring governance and approvals

Operational Support

  • Oversee customer B2B program changes and enhancements
  • Ensure attainment of customer data metrics and KPIs
  • Provide regular updates to Sales for customer review meetings
  • Provide regular updates to PMO for project status

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or information systems and/or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of experience conducting business analysis and managing IT projects
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies, software, and tools
  • Familiarity with Software Development Life Cycle
  • PMP or CBAP certification is preferred, but not required
  • A basic understanding of B2B standards such as RosettaNet or EDI
  • Experience with SAP or Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) is a plus
  • Semiconductor experience is a plus
