Kyushu Semiconductor Industry Exhibition

Amkor Technology will participate in the Kyushu Semiconductor Industry Exhibition, a premier industry event that brings together semiconductor manufacturers, equipment suppliers, research institutions, and technology leaders to foster innovation, technical exchange and business collaboration across the semiconductor ecosystem. The event will take place September 30–October 1, 2026, at Marine Messe Fukuoka, Japan.

At the exhibition, Yasushi Shiraishi, Director, Research and Development, will present “Amkor Technology Japan: Business Overview and R&D Activities at the Hakata Center.” The session will provide an overview of Amkor Technology and Amkor Technology Japan, along with the role of the Hakata R&D Center and its technology development activities, particularly in lead frame packaging.

Shinji Baba, Vice President, Research and Development, will present “Kyushu to the World: Global OSAT R&D and Regional Collaboration.” The presentation will discuss Amkor’s R&D and manufacturing presence in Kyushu, the importance of regional collaboration and initiatives that support semiconductor packaging innovation and supply chain development.

Amkor team members will be on-site throughout the exhibition and invite attendees to visit Booth No. B8-12 to discuss industry trends, technical challenges, collaboration opportunities and Amkor’s advanced packaging, test and R&D capabilities.
