仕事の概要：

The role of the Chemist is to help maintain the chemistry used in the plating pretreatment (deflashing and surface treatment), plating, and post-treatment process through a variety of analytical means. The role will work with a team of lab technicians to collect, analyze, interpret, and report solution conditions. The role will be part of plating engineering team and will also help foster teamwork between the lab and the production team.

• Chemical laboratory owner who will support the production team
• Liaise with chemical suppliers on any chemistry-related issues
• Provide troubleshooting and guidance to chemistry-related issues on the process of plating lines
• Provide input for solutions maintenance
• Incoming chemical quality checking
• Sample collection from the production machine and perform routine analysis on chemical baths used
• Bath parameter entry and record into the SPC system
• Verify new bath makeup and advice for chemical adjustment or replenishment
• Conduct Hull Cells on plating solutions and interpret results
• Maintain and calibrate analytical instruments and equipment
• Standard solution and reagent chemical preparation
• Responsible for lab supplies inventory
• Maintain good laboratory practice including chemical handling safety
• Maintain good laboratory 5S and cleanliness
• Analysis method development and process improvement studies through the design of experiments (DOE, Hull Cells, etc)
• Able to conduct training for lab technicians and chemical handlers
• Possesses a continuous improvement mentality
• Ensure that company policies and procedures are being followed
• Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental policies
• Additional tasks assigned by superiors, if necessary

要求事項：

• Minimum 3 Years of working experience in the related field is required for this position. Preferably in plating for semiconductor manufacturing, lead-frame manufacturing, substrate manufacturing, PCB manufacturing, or similar industry
• Hands-on experience in the following analytical tools/methods is advantageous:
  • Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer (AAS) – Analysis of metallic contents
  • UV-Vis Spectrophotometer – Analysis of plating additive concentration
  • Titration – Analysis of acid, alkaline, and others

Education:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry/Metallurgy/Plating Technology, Engineering (Material Science), Engineering (Chemical), Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Physics, Chemistry, or equivalent

職務上の責任：

• Managing the execution of the new package development project according to business process guidelines, to meet project milestones, quality & cost requirements
• Plan, organize and control the project with full responsibility for all operational decisions in the project
• Responsible for Engineering Samples, Qualification and safe launch builds, and proper handover to manufacturing
• Break down the project complexity to transparently report the status of the project to the project owner, and upper management and diligently to customers
• Prepare respective business cases and forward-looking risk assessments timely to facilitate management decisions and consequence management
• Responsible for overseeing customer audits and all issues related to the projects. Communicate effectively to gain support from all stakeholders

• Minimum 3 years working experience as Project Leader in Semiconductor Package Development
• Broad knowledge of overall Semiconductor FOL and EOL manufacturing processes
• Familiar with the development of Power packages (PQFN, TOLL, LFPAK, etc) an added advantage
• Excellent Project Management, Organizational and Interpersonal Skills in managing semiconductor new package development projects
• Ability to prioritize multiple activities and make effective decisions in support of a compact project plan, using sound communication skills, influencing power and negotiation skills both internally and externally with all stakeholders
