Questions about the Groundbreaking Ceremony
The ceremony site is at a currently unaddressed plot of land in the new Peoria Innovation Core. If navigating via GPS, enter the coordinates listed above. The site is located on the Northwest Corner of Lake Pleasant Parkway and Arizona State Route 303. Ample street signage and staff will direct you to the event entrance.
- From downtown, the Phoenix Convention Center, or Sky Harbor Airport, take I-17 North to Arizona State Route 303. Head West to Lake Pleasant Parkway, Exit 131.
- From Scottsdale & East Valley, take Arizona State Route 101 North and then West to I-17, then take I-17 North to Arizona State Route 303. Head West to Lake Pleasant Parkway, Exit 131.
- From California & West Valley, take I-10 East to Arizona State Route 303. Take 303 North and then East to Lake Pleasant Parkway, Exit 131.
Yes. We will have parking for attendees at the groundbreaking site. As this is an undeveloped piece of land, please understand that parking will be in a prepared dirt lot with uneven surfaces. Passenger cars will be fine on a graded dirt road but please be mindful of the terrain when choosing a vehicle to bring onsite. No EV charging will be available.
Casual business attire is recommended. Given the state of the construction site and the possibility for still very warm temperatures on October 6, please choose clothing that’s cool and footwear that permits comfortable movement on uneven terrain.
Cold water and commemorative treats will be provided.
Absolutely. Please know we will be documenting the event with onsite photography and videography, but you are welcome to bring your own personal camera or use your phone.
